Glueballs in lattice QCD

[Guest presentation from the Seminar on Hadron Physics with Antiprotons]

 

Glueballs are bound states of gluons predicted in QCD.  I will present an introduction to the phenomenology of glueballs as well as calculational methods on the lattice.  Recent experimental and theoretical results will be discussed.
