Nuclear physics with lattice effective field theory

Dean Lee (North Carolina State U.)

Lattice effective field theory combines the theoretical framework of effective field theory with numerical lattice methods.  In the first part of the talk I review the basic formalism and methods.  In the second part I present some recent applications to dilute neutron matter and nuclei.  In the last part I preview several new applications currently under development.
