Erkelenz-Kolloquium: Hadronic electroweak processes in a finite volume

I shall discuss a theoretical framework for the lattice QCD study of several hadronic electroweak processes involving resonances.  These include the pion photo(electro)production and rare B-meson decays.  The obtained results enable one to determine corresponding form factors and transition amplitudes from first principles.  I shall further consider a method for the lattice measurement of the unknown subtraction function in the forward doubly-virtual Compton scattering at low energies.
