Electromagnetic currents from the method of unitary transformation

Chiral effective field theory combined with the method of unitary transformation provides a systematic framework to study few-nucleon physics. In this talk I will show how to extend this framework to calculate electromagnetic currents. I will focus on one- and two-pion-exchange operators and compare with the results obtained in different formalisms.
