Baryon Spectroscopy with CLAS at JLab

Understanding the spectrum of mesons and baryons is a crucial part of the study of strongly interacting particles. In this talk, an overview of the N* programme with the CLAS detector at JLab will be given, reviewing results already obtained and discussing the prospects for future analyses and experiments. The role of polarisation observables will be highlighted, and an illustration will be given of how to quantify the
amount of additional information that these measurements contain.
